I promised to report back on The Quiet Chapter, my kitchen table writer’s retreat planned with Claude. The short version: I enjoyed it, I came away with a full novel outline, and the wobbles taught me more than the bits that went to plan.

I’ve blocked out five days this week to write my novel at home, built around yoga, M&S dinners and a hard no-email rule. I’m calling it The Quiet Chapter, my own staycation writer’s retreat, planned out with Claude down to Monday’s 7:30am yoga and a Percy Pig tea break. If I don’t reply this week, I haven’t ignored you, I’m somewhere between a restorative pose and a plot hole.
